A huge THANK YOU to all the parents that showed their love and support at our field trip at the Kenosha Public Museum today. We learned so much about indigenous Native American Tribes in Wisconsin and also had fun dissecting Owl Pellets. This was so informative and educational. We had a lot of fun!

Please send in your free vote every 24hrs for me if you can...I'd greatly appreciate it. I am so humbled to have made it so far already. It started two months ago with tens of thousands of contestants and now I'm in the top 5. It's amazing.

Math - None (Field Trip today)

Science - None (Field Trip)

Social Studies - None, but the weekly D.O.G. (Daily Oral Geography) was passed out on Monday and is due by Friday.  (Field Trip)

Upcoming events:

~ Field Trip on May 22nd to the Civil War Museum in Kenosha. This will be a great experience for the students to see artifacts and listen to real life soldier stories as we finish the unit on the Civil War at that time. Field Trip form to come home in May. So excited for this opportunity of enrichment.

~ After much research on my end, I have decided to end this year in Science with a bit of Biology. I surprised the students and told them that we will be dissecting a crayfish on May 24th and an earthworm on May 15th. I would say 99% of them were so excited about this. A couple were not thrilled with the idea. Please know that this will not be graded, nor would I make any student do something they do not want to do or feel comfortable doing. This is strictly for fun and is totally optional. If they choose to not participate, they can come to the Science lab with us and read a book in the hallway. I'm very excited about this opportunity for the students.
