Grade 8:
- to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking through the study of adjective, adverb, and noun clauses

- Assessment: Friday, April 12
- to produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience by introducing text analysis of authors' writing
