Note: Students will go outside for recess in the snow and cold. Please dress appropriately. 

 

Grade 6:

• to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with agreement: singular/plural, subject-verb, phrases between subject-verb.

Grade 7:

• to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with clauses: independent, subordinate, adjective, adverb

• to produce clear and coherent writing through informative paragraphs using in-text citations in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience 

Grade 8:

• to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with clauses: independent, subordinate, adjective, adverb
• Check In - Wednesday, January 11
• to produce clear and coherent writing through St. Joseph memories in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience
