Note: Students will go outside for recess in the snow and cold. Please dress appropriately. 

 

Grade 6:

• to produce clear and coherent informative writing presentations and mini-research work in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience 

Grade 7:

• to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with with phrases: Monday, December 19 - Module 5 Phrases Review: Tuesday, December 20 - Module 5 Phrases Retake
• to produce clear and coherent writing through an introduction to debates in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience 

Grade 8:

• to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with infinitive, gerund, participial phrases: Tuesday, December 20 - Module 5 Phrases Assessment
• to produce clear and coherent informative debate work in teams in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience
