Week at a Glance: April 8 - 11, 2024

Sixth Grade Reading:

• Students will begin nonfiction study of The Boys in the Boat including rowing positions, setting, and characters.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 16.
• Students will read independent novels.

Seventh Grade Reading:

• Students will begin nonfiction study of Hidden Figures including characters and time period of the novel.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 16.
• Students will read independent novels.

Eighth Grade Reading:

• Students will work on lit centers for To Kill a Mockingbird including author study, Great Depression, Dust Bowl, Jim Crow laws, and Scottsboro Boys.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 16.
• Students will read independent novels.
