• Students will complete final project for Touching Spirit Bear including character, setting, and theme.
• Students will read independent novel.
• Students will complete i-Reaedy growth monitoring.

Eighth Grade Reading:

• Students will perform readers' theater of "Olympians Rising."
• Students will create a comic strip of scenes from play.
• Students will conference and journal on independent novels.
• Students will complete i-Ready growth monitoring.
