• Students will perform readers' theater of The Headless Horseman.
• Students will continue novel study of Holes including cause/effect, character traits and author style.
• Students will check comprehension of Latin & Greek unit 5.
• Students will read independent novels.

Seventh Grade Reading:

• Students will perform readers' theater of The Headless Horseman.
• Students will continue novel study of Touching Spirit Bear including word choice, point of view, text evidence, and sensory details.
• Students will check comprehension of Latin & Greek unit 6.
• Students will read independent novels.

Eighth Grade Reading:

• Students will perform readers' theater of The Headless Horseman.
• Students will finish annotations of Prisoner B-3087 including direct and indirect characterization.
• Students will begin final project for novel.
• Students will check comprehension of Latin & Greek unit 6.
• Students will read independent novels.
