6th Grade Science: Star Systems and Galaxies

Star Systems and Galaxies
- Students will develop and use a model to describe the role of gravity in the motions within galaxies and the solar system.
- Students will be able to define a star system and identify the major types of galaxies.
We will be learning about star systems and galaxies. Students will conduct research on the planets and solar system. There will be a quiz on this lesson on Friday, June 2nd. Please encourage students to thoroughly review all notes and resources available on Google Classroom.
7th Grade Science: Cell Analogy Project

Cell Analogy Project
- Students will review concepts covered about plant and animal cells while working on a cell analogy project. They will create an analogy of a cell and at least seven organelles.
