8th Graders last day of Class is Friday May 24, 2024
3rd -Grade:
Last week the students worked on completing their assignment for El Cinco de Mayo so this week they will begin learning about El Bano/ The Bathroom.
Performance Target
- Students answer the question “Que está en el baño”?
- Identify the phrase “En mi baño hay”
- New vocabulary words: toothbrush (cepillo de dientes) pasta de dientes (toothpaste), espejo (mirror), jabón (soap),
- Rockalingua - Mi Casa, Repaso de vocabulario, Rutina comienzo de clase
4th Grade:
Last week the students worked on the el garaje packet. They will also have fun by reviewing vocabulary words on fruits, vegetables using a spin wheel. Students will learn more about the use of Que te gusta mas?
Performance Target
- Identify “Te gustan las verduras?¿Te gustan los vegetales?
- Identify new vocabulary words of fruits: La manzana, el limón, el plátano,
- Identify new vocabulary words of vegetables: la zanahoria, la lechuga, el tomate
5th Grade:
The students will continue learning about El Campo (country) y animales e granja. Los animales de agua y de el bosque
Vocabulary words:
Identify words:Granja/farm, vaca/cow, cabra/goat, horse, caballo.
Identify words: Sello/seal, ballena/whale etc.
Identify:Comparisons of the animals
6- 8th Grade:
Students have ended with Capitulo 3A and have now started Capitulo 3B.
Objective:They will be able to identify healthy foods and cultural practices.
Identify: healthy and unhealthy lifestyles.
Identify Street vendors in Mexico and identify what foods you can find.
Identify: What foods we can find in the market in Cuba (comida tropical).
Identify: El mate,the national drink of Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay
