Tuesday, May 13, 2025 Homework
Math - None (Today, we continued our I-Ready Math assessment testing. Please continue practicing multiplication flashcards at home, as we will do a lot of multiplication and division in the next few weeks.)
Science - Thomas Edison packet due by Friday (Schiff Only - Today, we continued reading in our Thomas Edison books and comprehension packets. The students will also enjoy learning about him and receive a special gift from ComEd on Wednesday to bring home. Today, we read chapters 5 & 6)
Social Studies- Escape by Night packet is due by Friday and D.O.G. is due by Friday (Today, we read chapters 15 & 16 in our Escape By Night book. Some questions to ask: How does Red say goodbye to Tommy?... He said a poem to him. Who does Tommy hear calling him at the end of the chapter?... He heard his father calling him. Who is standing in the road waiting for Tommy?... His father and Annie were waiting for him at the intersection. Was the Reverend upset when he saw Tommy ?... No, he was relieved to know he was safe from the danger he put himself in.)

~ We have another Field Trip on May 21st to the Civil War Museum in Kenosha. More info is to come for chaperoning by our room parents—field trip forms went home in April. I am so excited about this enrichment opportunity.
