Reminders:
- Disguise a Gingerbread - due Tuesday 11/22
- Winter Clothing Note
- Please send your child with appropriate outerwear for outside recess. We will go outside as often as we safely can. (Label items if possible, this is very helpful when trying to locate lost items. :) )
- Please also send in an extra pair of school shoes when your child comes to school wearing boots.
Religion: We will start to learn about the Church season of Advent.
Math: We will be reviewing place value and problem solving strategies to prepare for Chapter 3, which will start the week after Thanksgiving break.
Language Arts: Students will be completing Thanksgiving-themed writing activities to practice writing opinion and informational writing.
Reading: We will review comprehension strategies for fiction and nonfiction texts, as we enjoy stories from our Superkids reader, articles from our Super magazine, and Thanksgiving-themed read aloud selections.
Social Studies: We will read about the Wampanoag tribe, along with truths and myths about their interactions with the European explorers. Our new social studies unit will start the week after Thanksgiving.
