Mrs. Rudolph has a bachelor’s degree in Humanities with a concentration in Literature and a minor in Religious Studies as well as a master’s degree in education. She has been a Benedictine Oblate for 14 years studying with the St. Scholastica community in Chicago. She was a Youth Minister and is currently enrolled in Catechists’ training. She has supported the SJCS staff in several roles over the years from Spanish, as a long-term sub in 3rd grade and as a substitute teacher across all grade levels. She is a parent of two graduates of SJCS, and she has a student currently enrolled.

6th Grade

Retell the story of the healing of the paralytic.
Describe the Sacraments of Healing.
 
7th Grade
Students will deepen their experience of the mass by exploring scripture and prayers.
Explain that we follow the path of Jesus and live with the hope of being reunited with God.
 
8th Grade

Offer Petitions as witnesses for Christ. 
Improve understanding of Doxology, the marginalized and Social Justice.

Identify the Daily Examen as an important component of Ignatian spirituality.

Demonstrate the understanding that we encounter God through the sacraments.
Identify and describe the Sacraments of Initiation. 
 
7th Grade
Explain how the Holy Spirit assists us in finding Christ’s presence in prayer, in community, in the sacraments and in all things. 
Identify the Sacraments of Initiation as our initiation into the Body of Christ. 
 
8th Grade 
Summarize the story of St Ignatius of Loyola’s conversion. 
Explain how the Fifth, Sixth and Ninth Commandments help us care for God’s creation. 
 
Both 7th & 8th Grade
All 7th grade, 8th grade, and high school teens are invited to St. Joe's Youth Group for Trivia Night on Sunday, April 7th at 6pm! We will have trivia games and PRIZES. Dinner will be provided!

Analyze the story of Isaiah’s calling.
Describe the role of the prophets - to call on others to follow God’s commandments and reform injustices. 
Quiz for both classes is Thursday. 
 
7th Grade
Students will deepen their experience of the mass by exploring scripture and prayers.
Explain that we experience the Real Presence of Jesus Christ at the consecration in the Eucharistic Prayer, when the bread and wine become Christ’s Body and Blood.
Quiz for 7K is Wednesday.
Quiz for 7F is Thursday.
 
8th Grade 
Students will deepen their experience of the mass by exploring scripture and prayers.
State that the Church encourages us to pray, fast, and give alms during the season of Lent. 
Identify the Act of Contrition as a traditional prayer that we pray to express our desire to repent.
